Chenyue Du-Xu

Senior Associate


Chenyue joined Mutual Value Labs (MVL) as an Associate Consultant in 2021, where she applies the Economics of Mutuality (EoM) purpose-centric methodology to help client organizations integrate mutual value creation into their business strategies. Her work spans diverse sectors, including pet care, chronic disease healthcare, FMCG and banking, ensuring the seamless implementation of the EoM model within client strategies. She also contributes to the development of a digital learning course tailored for young professionals and middle managers, alongside a generative AI-powered tool for ecosystem mapping research.

Prior to joining MVL, Chenyue built interdisciplinary experience across a variety of fields. She worked as a materials engineer at the Swiss Federal Laboratories for Materials Science and Technology (EMPA). She also co-designed a smart connected self-heating lunchbox for the China Hardware Innovation Camp (CHIC), and developed its prototype in Shenzhen, China. Later, she transitioned into financial consulting at Swiss Life Select, where she cultivated a strong client portfolio by helping individuals and their families strengthen their financial security and achieve their financial goals.

Born in China and raised in Switzerland within a Sino-Swiss family, Chenyue holds a Master’s degree in Materials Science and Engineering with a Minor in Management of Technology and Entrepreneurship from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology of Lausanne (EPFL). She completed her master’s thesis at the Harvard School of Engineering and Applied Sciences.
